Hello artists and creators of the Red Bubble. I live in the far north of Canada in the capital city of the Northwest Territories, Yellowknife. I have an art boutique named Mondo Bella (Beautiful World in Italian). I know, I know, it is grammatically incorrect because Mondo which means World is masculine and so the correct grammar is Mondo Bello… I just liked the sound of Bella better. Here in the far north our economy is built on diamonds. We are one of the world’s top suppliers. But we only have one art store and it is very expensive, dealing mostly in originals. I have always collected poster art and I am a photographer so, part of my business is selling my photos and partis selling your art. I have a large drymounting press and with it I dry moun posters and photo enlargements prior to retailing. I had grown very bored with the posters offered on Internet. Everyone is pedaling the same stuff. I have spent night after night going through page after page of art to find one poster I’d be willing to mount and sell. I thought there just had to be better art than this. For goodness sake there must be plenty of artists who want to promote and sell their work. Then I happend to find RB and I was blown away! I only ventured into 2 of the categories and I wanted to buy everything! I put in a $700 order and that was after cutting back my first order from what I loved to what I couldn’t live without. And then back further to things that kept haunting my mind. When I dry mounted the first order, the labels identifying the artist showed through with a square impression on the front of the mounted print. It wasn’t pretty and really spoiled the piece of art. So I asked RB to either attach labels that peeled off, or send them separately. And that’s what they did. My second order was over $1600 and after I dry mounted them to MDF board, I attached the corresponding sticker to the back of the board and below that put my label as the framer. I’m so impressed with the art at RB and want the artist to have all the credit they are due. Bravo Australia! What a kick-ass concept for a web-site. For artists and art lovers! RB and it’s community of artists get 2 thumbs up for a brilliant venue to spread breathtaking art world-wide and I fully expect, you are all going to reap the rewards once the whole world discovers your treasures!
