I’m so glad I found this, thought I’d lost the hi-res version. I took it in Berlin in July 2005. It is my favourite foto from Berlin and still one of my favourites of all time. Not that there have been that many! ;-) It’s my testimony to all those imprisoned European rivers.

PS. You’ll love Berlin. Reminded me a lot of Mebourne, (in all the good ways) and while Paris, Madrid and Amsterdam were great, Berlin was just brilliant in every respect.
