    The dieter’s friend! Or for those not on a diet a very healthy source of micronutrients. Great that you grow them in your garden, as the fresher they are, the more nutritious they are. Now that leaves a goodly allowance of calories for one of your delicious deserts…!!!

  • It’s great just being able to grab a few leaves from a plant rather than buying a whole lettuce from a shop which I can’t eat before it goes brown :)
