Vlad Tepes' Resting Place

v-something

Point Cook, Australia

Artist's Description

In front of the altar, in an Orthodox Church, on an island in the middle of Snagov Lake in Romania is the grave of the infamous Vlad (The Impaler) Tepes. Vlad Tepes was a famous ruler and defender of Romania and the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. His grave is adorned with a plaque and some simple decorations surrounded by the majesty of a truly ancient church. Taken with a Canon EOS 3000. Converted from film.
