    Wow! I stood in the doppelganger of this alleyway a couple of years ago and attempted to (I now realize) do exactly what you’ve done here. Of course I did not realize that until I saw this post. Unfortunately the reason I was in the alleyway was the impending razing of that building. So I cannot go back and rip off your dazzling technique and interpretation. Um, not that I would of course… heh heh heh….

    Odd how great ideas are intuitively obvious just as soon as an insightful mind explains them to us. Sigh… Great time capsule Alf.

    As an interesting aside, My unit faces this lane and can be seen to the right of this pic. My lights were on so I must have been at home when you took this pic.
