The tribes in the Pacific Northwest lived this life with plenty of water, food berries to seafoods and endless shelter for all. They lived this idyllic life for centuries trading with neighboring tribes for what they needed. Obsidian or whatever. However, In late 1700s, some Spanish sailors landed and exposed the PNW tribes to Old World smallpox and 90% of local tribes died? Spanish greed had ramifications far beyond the individual bastards?
