cliché

walking barefoot in contaminated soil
under the falling stars
endlessly dreaming of an existing world
with the eyes open
anything I put my mind to is possible than to think
that everything is possible
And I’m not going to bombard myself with cliches
I realise, that each of us holds a half of a truth
and I tried to convince myself that to change
a story was to tell no more than a half-lie
A lie that is half-truth is the darkest of all lies
I feel like a cliche
stereotyped
I conceded …
I’ve been living in some other time
there’s some other world
telling stories without words
listening without speaking
without voices
like someone recites verses by heart
Blind folding experiment
crossing lines
breaking boundaries
a metaphoric mapping between heart and mind
the blindfolded vision
glimpses from the other side
all that came out was a whisper
love is a cliché

I read this a few times to feel this….and the weariness which I felt first after a few more reads is also tied up with a sense of moving forward from what is not real, what has no integrity.
It felt like a realty check was going on here…..and there was the lilt of sadness echoing.
Poignant composed writing, wonderful work. x

Oh to face what is and not what one wishes to face is the epithany that allows us to live life honestly. This is very well written Ushna, your gift is very apparent and I’m happy you use it so nicely in all you do.
