May you hear it on the news other day
Global Warming
Carbon footprint
C2O
Problems with the landfill sites and council waste recycling
We can’t promise to save the earth with these little tips
But if everyone should do their bit for the environment
Cause every little helps!
Why we are waiting for some big strategies
and carry out a massive plans
by implementing some of these small ideas
we can make it possible to get relief
Why we waiting for great ideas?
what if we make some simple changes to our daily activity?
You too can help in some small way to save the Earth!

I don’t know if anything we do would save the earth, I know that anything we do of a respectful nature towards anything or anybody on earth, will make us feel better about ourselves.

Carbon dioxide, created by burning oxygen. Respiratory illness on the increase. Fish dying due to low oxygen levels. Carbon dioxide is only the tip of the ice burg.

I agree yet also think its an insult to the average person to impose them with this guilt. Lets face it that it the biggest polluters are big business. While the US and until recently Australia ignore setting targets and develop new industries then we cant expect the up and coming polluters China and India to give a dam but of course they should. I just dont accept the burden parts of the media and goverments are slamming the average person with. If they made a greener lifestyle more desirable (in terms of cost) then people would jump on board of their propaganda solar, turbine propelled vehicle.

Yes Ushna, everyone can make a difference if they care too. The problem is not everyone cares too. But every effort, no matter how small helps. Even a child taking cans to the recycling center, or kids planting trees. I like where your mind is at. You are very high minded person. Smiles from Jane.

Hi Ushna, as I have mentioned before I think people in general are self absorbed with their own emotional issues. I suspect even some of the activists for the green movement are also struggling with their own emotional environment. If more people really embraced their own fears with a view to purifying their self esteem I believe they would then care more about their actions and how they impact on other people and the environment.

Ushna, you said: ”...only we can change the world! “
But we HAVE!!!, look around, the Earth is raped, bleeding and dying – all our doing.
Does make us masters of destruction?
I don’t think so.
By some freakish event in the history we developed brains capable of greed, jelousy and hatred, no other animal is capable of those feelings. As a logical progression we started exploit anyone and anything we can reach with our greedy paws. Is this wrong? Well, I guess, if you look at the bigger picture it is not. We’ve been on this planet for a very short time, and our time is up. Time to go. Is this the “end of the world” – not at all, the universe will not even slow down to have a look.
It is our mutated brains that make us feel special, God’s creatures etc.
Now we want to “save the planet”, the planet will be just fine whatever we do to it. Even if we blow it apart, a new planet will eventually form, new life forms will emmerge.
I think that we are kidding ourselves, we don’t care about saving the planet, being selfish and self-obsessed we want to save ourselves, and ourselves only.
We came from nature and nature is wipping us out.
The destruction we cause is part of nature. We marvel at birds building nests, bees communicating with each other and termites building air-conditioned nests. We’ve bettered all that, we’ve built nuclear weapons using the brains that nature gave us.
(just some food for thought, no offence meant to anyone at all)
:-)
Ushna Sardar in reply to BrainCandy’s comment, 4 months ago
Dear Brain! if you want you can save yourself but your survival is nothing without your planet survival! yeah we created weapons and what we are facing? we made nuclear and we are seeing? blood on earth? let suppose we are brainy and we built neclear so we just can’t just keep little peace on the Earth? if we are brainy!
thanks for sharing thoughts!
be good! :)

Hi Ushna,
Thanks for the watching!
I just think that we were designed and destined to fail.
Something is not right we our global brain. As individuals we are mostly OK, as a species we are sooooooo stupid it’s scary.
Thanks for the initial post, it gave me an idea for a T-shirt design. Will let you know when I post it.
