nail my colours to the mast

sitting in the dark
fastened my gaze on the walls
the picture is askew
badgered myself
the dead issues
heart and mind
were contending for power
nights bait the pentagram
so far I refused to nail my colours to the mast
heart embarks on a quest
tackled a blaze
pilgrim conceived of as sacred
distant ignorant
has a passing acquaintance with soul
time had gone out with the ark
stole my thunder
extinguishing the sun
secluded virgin coves
haven’t obeyed the voice, and kept charge,
commandments, statutes, and laws
perish the thought
violated a taboo
advice fell on deaf ears
forbidden fruit knocked the socks off the pilgrim
couldn’t obey the Sabbath Commandment
constitutes blasphemy on the Sabbath day
denied the accusation that had ignored the laws
shall perish?
or will never be forgiven?
might be forgiven for doing
unforgivable sin?
and purify from all unrighteousness
word of God clearly reveals them to be untrue
this systematic mystifying of men’s minds
blasphemy on the Sabbath day
will never be forgiven?

Heady stuff Ushna, great work. I would like to believe forgiveness would be granted to anybody at the very end. The scores would be tallied and some conclusion and action determined. In what way I don’t know but we’re all doing everything for a reason.

Fantastic Ushna. Well may it be, the laws laid for the intent of mass order. Fortunately the eternal souls of all will reap the glory when the bodies of the enlightened as well as the narrow minded have extinguished. :) Solar XXX
