reality and a banal conversation about the life
beyond belief
the guesses time came up with was really just a shot in the dark
where the assumption was dotted with foreboding
shaking with fright.—
plunged into chaos
have a frog in it’s throat
vanished into thin air
a long thin mark on the surface
be lost in thought
fenced with barbed wire.—
the line of least resistance
physical and mental control
cut it’s teeth on the cliff edge
live in each other’s pockets
contrast between the essence precedes existence
& existence precedes essence
the deliberate choice of falsehood about self
the conception of ends
purposes as a determining factor in reality
Existentialism and Absurdism
meaningless world
humans have found fault of resolving the dilemma
an unintelligible world devoid of God
eternal truth and values
man’s futile search for meaning
unity and clarity
the concept of sin
this sickness is not unto death
death is merely another stop along the way of the eternal life?
lay down their lives
put the fear of God into the depths of despair
if have not been aligned with God?
the humanity was sharply defined against the belief
diagonal line and the tension between finite and infinite
beyond the bounds of possibility
identifiable with the dialectical balancing act
opposing forces within the individual
set humans face against belief
it’s no skin off their nose
finitude…
humans are inherently reflective
conscious of being aligned with a higher purpose?
Voluntarism & intellectualism
this approach gives primacy to facts
it gave primacy to God’s reason
finding the point where ice started to crack
where belief system broke from that philosophical line of thoughts
Where there the humans bones shattered into pieces
in the search of the reason
in good faith
where there cliff had cracked off in a storm
thunder crashed in the sky
somewhere on the broken path
where belief had been stolen
primacy of the practical over the pure reason
curiosity killed the cat
humans are incapable of knowing ultimate reality?
the facts speak for themselves
get up with the lark
trying to listen the voices in the dark
the voice of reason & sanity
‘search me’
with a gesture of despair
Faith is stronger than reason
cut a tooth
‘This sickness is not unto death’
get your teeth into

small lives never let go…confined within their space…tracing the trace of past present the future…it is today that traps them…nirvana not their kismet or their goal.
Great read…applause applause…Peace to you.

An intellectually and spiritually delicious read not devoid of thought or purpose, plunging its way down through the skies to it’s point, stuck squarely in the earth.
Your writing is superb, Ushna! fav.

You know Ushna, I’ve heard it said many times that “your life” is just a day in your life.
It gets more frightening as we age, but I believe there is a way to be at peace with the entire question. That is my life’s quest.
Mikyle
You have brought up all of the biggest, most mysterious questions and concepts of life all in one poem… I too am plagued by these idaes. Can humans know the ultimate truth? Is death just another stop along the way? God… God? All we can do is ponder, in awe, and live from moment to moment, for that is the only thing we can be more or less sure of. The rest? Is just plain old fascinating.

I love the music in this….the force of the beat…...and how much it challenges us.

“physical and mental control

Just a few of many lines in this work that jump out at me and amaze; inspiring read from start to finish…or new beginning your hope for all. In time I pray that humanity comes to the conclusion that what is real and unchangeble is our spirits…love in each of us a gift of our creator to propergate and unfold for we are immortality with destiny of perfection.

wow!!!!
This is a bombing of concepts..
Your mind is in war…all the time. And I can feel it today. But it is a roaring like a thunder..that means that from clashing and clashing, from boomming and boomming there is a srot of space, where you recolect your Essence and try to guide it along a trail of thoughts that have been brooding inside… rooting inside.
I confess that there are many concepts, seemingly inconexed but just so.. seemingly, for behind all that proffusio of concepts s layered a mental state of searching and a stressful asking…questioning, objecting to all that your Being perceives in the four aspects of the human development. To cut it short…..which is difficult, I can feel here the unavoidable “paradox” of our mind-soul. The incongruency of reason versus faith, the dicothomy of our underdevelopped mind. We will evolve…Ushna.. I know… or change of material support for existing….. Love it…all of it.

I recall…
A “frog in your throat”
Has something to do with the known story, adapted to our way of living, in which the frog is put into a sauce pan with cold water… and that it will not get out, even she is feeling the water be warming….and will perish by being slowy cooked?....
It has made me smile this expression.
We have a said here…whe one is enraged and using verbal expressions….that one is having “tods and snakes” out of the mouth.
Was… a “by-the-way!

i see an image of a park with a dude and a megaphone attracting the usual curious onlookers…and a dictum of a high purpose emitting from the loudhailer.. you watch this person for awhile, notice the subtle and some not so subtle arguments…that you acknowledge or wont….and with curiousity you see the crowd…the mad, the bad, the fence sitter the devote and the athiest…you wont poke fun cause you dont tempt fate anymore.. but you dont have any innocence inside left to connect with anything but the two feet that brought you to that spot… and your usual daily habits. You hope for eternal life for this world… but we need to pull our heads way out of our ass to achieve it…and a lot of people have to get hurt to do it… politically unacceptable of course… but this person believes of a higher warmth and magnificence..who am i to disagree. xxxx MS
