the bare bones

lies and deception
illusion and a deceit
tricks intended
the bare bones of the soul
heart’s a frightened child
tired of the masquerade
and wanted the truth to come out
hidden strength within soul
a bone of contention
mind covered by a thick green scum
time silenced soul with a glare
knock some sense into head
conflict of interest
science with a human face
extremely complicated…
lost courage to speak out against the tide of opinion
felt fenced in by inner affairs
got fingers badly burnt dabbling in the conflict
time can’t put off the evil hour any longer
waiting for the last chance to turn the tide
good triumphs over evil in the end?

    Seems in despair…
    that green scum…
    like bubbling of gangrene,
    that gets into the essential.
    And spreads without mercy,
    amputation required.
    It has a cure…
    yes.. but,
where can we start to amputate..
and ….who is going to be the surgeon?
Rosa (vivid and strong as always Ushna….)

  • Ushna Sardar replied

Well said Rosa and ended up with the great question! we know the answer! if we don’t know we should try to sort that issue out! thank you so much sweetheart! appreciate your precious comments! xo

  • imagineering

    imagineering

There is no absolute evil in the world: Evil is relative. Recognize this fact.
In the realm of time there is nothing that is not a foot to one and a fetter to another.
To one a foot, to another a fetter; to one a poison, to another sweet and wholesome sugar.
Snake-venom is life to the snake, but death to man: the sea is a garden to sea-creatures, but to the creatures of earth a mortal wound.
In search of goodness in things evil; Do Not look for it with your own eyes – NO, borrow sight from it, look on its face with its eye, look on it with its heart and your lover’s eye.
Then, and only then, you will become its eyes, its face, its hands and its heart – and everything loathly becomes heavenly once it leads you to the Soul of Goodness.Search Well and You Shall Find.
...I am glad you are not hiding those burnt fingers that grip…!!! Sometimes, a scream is better than a thesis….

  • Ushna Sardar replied

  • F.A. Moore

    F.A. Moore

Profound. Where there is intent to deceive, there “evil” lurks. It seems as though humanity has slipped into more deception. I don’t know why, unless it is because that it is so often reasoned away, as being good business, or good to protect another one, or this or that. But I like to hold everything to the light. Your writing not ony holds the attention, but intrigues one to dig for hidden meaning. Impressive, Ushna.

  • Ushna Sardar replied

I like to hold everything to the light too F.A! thanks for sharing thoughts! much appreciate this! thank you so much! xo
