thick skull

Pieces of wreckage
rusted door
a few scattered settlements
an old dream rusting away outside
a lack of essential nutrients
the number of population scratch a living from the soil
children suffering from a serious nutrient deficiency

scratched and brawled
child in need
bitter eyes
shed bitter tears
a bitter disappointment
Could nothing be rescued from the wreckage of their dreams?
The new plans and strategies had soon disappointed the hopes of many.
hope springs eternal
we were hoping against hope that there’d been some mistake!
people never stop hoping
All we can do now is wait and hope?

my skull was crammed with too many thoughts
Here we are balanced on the edge
but it makes us slightly scared
We’re all wrecked up ain’t we?
eradication extirpate
abolition terminated?
extermination life will cease
We waited until the problems had eased off!
the annihilation of the whole human race
the human race has enough weapons to annihilate itself?
our deceased dreams
annihilation life deceased
the political opponents
system often suffer from teething troubles

formidable obstacles
opponents of the regime
worthy opponents
a cessation of hostilities
people hostility to nuclear power
a determined effort to stop wars
an effort to keep the peace
are we determined to succeed?
but we abominate the human race ain’t we?
we loathe each other!
as human ain’t we annihilated our opponent, who failed to win a single game?
the annihilation of the whole human race
have we managed to overcome all the obstacles that have been placed in our path?
we are determined to eradicate racism from our world
life never cease to amaze us!
we shouldn’t loathe all living life
we shouldn’t abominate the Human Race
When will we get it into our thick skull that we can’t take risk if we want really this world at peace!
We cannot afford to ignore this warning that time gave us!

A lot of effort has gone into making this world at peace
It’s a long climb to the top, but well worth the effort
What we hate will not exist
what we make the effort to cease fire?
with an effort of will we have resisted the temptation?
skull is crammed with too many thoughts
a darkened room
we managed to get back into the room unheard
catastrophic effects
losses
the cruelties of life
there’s no careful make-up hid the signs of catastrophe beneath!

Ushna, I so enjoy the way you think, the refreshing way you write, and the thoughts you open. Not only do you crash into ideas and philosophies that are wrong and expose them, but you bring hope ot the table…the possiblity that God not only exists, but still cares!

Magnificent work, Ushna! You lay out the human condition with our struggles brilliantly! And your sincere desire for seeing people coming together and abolishing all differences is a shinning spirit to emulate. For the very soul and health of our planet! Like you, I am most pained by the suffering innocent. Great writing!
