extreme emotions
extremely insane mind
resting fear
resting unconscious
the subconscious mind
unconscious desires
a strange inhuman sound
living in the circle
Pushed up by lines
we are fish out of water
on the wrong side of the tracks

standing against the opposed
we do not want war
nor want to escalate the war
our life’s diary is a record of our inner conflict
We should do all we can to help our less fortunate brethren
will we die for our brethren, that we had chose?
Our side seemed under the cosh
we are experiencing a lot of pressure
strayed into the path of an oncoming danger
it seemed, we strayed a few blocks in the wrong direction and became hopelessly lost
We seem to be straying from the main theme of the debate
are we fish out of water
on the wrong side of the tracks?
we have taken to living like a duck to water.—
strapped, a broken pact
caught in a trap
It seemed the tide has got and we watch as your life starts to divide
we just managed to duck out of sight
We ducked down behind the wall so danger wouldn’t see us
we have got to get back from the wrong
side of the tracks
a tide of optimism
our chance to turn the tide
a blizzard of thoughts
a howling gale
the blizzard is still raging outside
can we go against the tide
it feels like we’re drowning
can we realise that we are losing time
there are very real grounds for optimism
a fly trapped in a jar
is it a fly the coop
we seem to fly off the handle about the slightest thing these days
off-the-wall ideas
we confronted us with a choice between war and peace
we chose the path
where there the walls just keep on closing in
we were unable to deny the challenges in the face of new horizons
we knocked on the door with some trepidation
ran around in the circle
but minds have wrapped up in cellophane bag
might we keep crawling on and on
fell into the trap
cant even breath
trapped in the burning house
like a fire in a glass!

Your word pictures are vivid, Ushna…scary, making me want to hide behind those very walls. I was in a war, before i was even of age to serve. The images still come back in these kinds of writings and haunt me.
