You were always there for me
right from the beginning
when I was a kid and knowing nothing
then I have no sense
have no words to say
when I was crawling
or when I stood on my feet first
when I fell
or got hurt
you were there for me
you are still here for me
you were there to turn to happy time
you were there to understand
and listen
to all untold
you were knowing the meaning
when I have no words to say
you’re knowing all still
you read my face
read my eyes
read my mind
you listen my thoughts
whether I’m happy or little tense
when I’m hurt or blue
you know whats up
you’re knowing all
when I was scared
when I’m frightened
when I’m apprehensive
when I’m tumbling inside
you were there in the nighttime
to say me my prayers
you’re there for me in the morning time
to get up and go out of bed
you were always there to show me the way
when I was in dark
you were there to tell me
when I had a dream that scares
you’re knowing all
you’re there to advise
your arms were wrapped around me
when I was scared
you always there for me
when I needed you mum
how could you know that all
only heaven knows!!

thank you so much Sally! I’m lucky that having my mum along with me! but don’t know why that brings tears to my eyes when I was writing! love her so much, always I need and always I want to see her there for me! I know thats not only my feelings! everyone feel the same!

I am rather close to my Mum too and I celebrate her everyday through my words, actions and what she has given me of her wisdom, love and guidance, I pray that I am a good Mum too…. a lovely piece, I happy for you and your mum that you have each other.

I just “enjoyed” a homemade breakfast of scrambled eggs with way too much salt and half a packet of dried rosemary. The kitchen is a nuclear waste zone and my children have al vanished to their rooms proud that they showed their Mum how much she is loved. So I was already feel ing emotional before i read this beautiful pieces. Now I am an emotional wreck! Sensitive writing and honest, moving sentiment. Well done and happy mother’s day to all.
