we have been trying to discover things for years and years
many researches
little curious about everything
why it happens
how it happens
what if it happens some other way
what if it happened in certain way
ah’ this curiosity in nature
So we have been trying to get hold on the nature
We carried out plans to conquer universe
and we have done
many inventions
day by day
discovered many new dimensions
created new horizon
touched the sky
held up moon and stars
got hold on the whole universe
succeeded goals
strategies have accomplished
dreams have completed
changed things
impossible to possible
made things that could make life more easier
made life faster and furious
seen beyond the flash
gone beyond the time
access to the next heaven
knock on the future’s door
made stations in the space
made bomb and many other destructive weapons
the man’s wise
the man’s power
the man is leading
ruling
playing
achieving
fighting
defending
offending
making
breaking
denying
living
dying
falling
rising
man’s achiever
successfully conquered
but the world is bleeding
time is standing on the silent land
seeing whats up
many achievements
(that never ending)
but where man stands
that’s a journey of achievements
or ..
that’s just a self-destruction!!!!!

But don’t good and evil rise and fall?
Its not looking good right now though, that I’ll give you. Sinister corporations and governments really have their act together.

Nice, Usha. Reminds me of the verse that talks about gaining the whole world but losing your soul in the midst of it. Much to ponder…

Yes, I agree Ushna! The positive changes need first to happen on the interior of each of us if they are to be of lasting duration and value. The outside world is merely a reflection of what is inside. Truth-be-told, the actual earth—entire substance—mountains, hills, valleys, calm and storms, come forth from the state of humanities accumulative consciousness.

I can remember when there was not a phone in every house much less one in every hand, no McDonalds, no Dairy Queen, no calculators, no computers, and I can remember WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and Desert Storm and now Iraqi. Think I would rather not have the first than have the second.

Humanity will always walk on the razor’s edge. To know that death is always close is what keeps you alive.
Necessity is the Mother of Invention, Greed is her husband. The world has “progressed” quite far from the monkey in the tree, or so we think. What good is the tech if neighbor still wars with his brother.

Man’s avarice will undo all that was given freely…..

I think many people get lost in the achievement and the creation of new things and lose connection to their inner state of being. I think we creative people here on bubble also get self destructive in this same way at times. We seem to churn out so much stuff that we get left with little space to self reflect and also to reflect on what others are doing. If we were all motivated on being self aware I believe our creations and discoveries would be empowering to all rather than destructive.

I agreed, creation or invention always have price to pay! if we gain something .. we must have to lose something! that’s a journey about discovery! you are right If we were all motivated on being self aware I believe our creations and discoveries would be empowering to all rather than destructive!
