I think it’s coming very near that we will be half machine half human to enhance our life capacity and abilities. A little scary to think about but it will happen. It’s the next step in evolution for the human race. There will be good and bad aspects to it. Great piece of writing Ushna!

I will keep reading and I won’t get you wrong.
Thankfully for every Gates and Rumsfeld there are ten good hackers. Hopefully they’ll bail us all out if it ever gets down to the wire.

Beautiful as always Ushna, would “cro-magnon” man have similar thoughts as he saw his world changing? Did they resist? Did they even express themselves? How will our mechanical great grandchildren view this time?

My first time on here and I shall try to be gentle ;-) Well written Ushna!! Time and time over we hear this about man turning into machines… I suppose it is only natural.. from stones and sticks to knives and forks.. from carts & boats to concordes & submarines, from herbs & flowers to stitch free surgeries.. man has developed some say, some call it evolution.. Me and you don’t want man to be machines, we feel that is wrong, but where do we see ourselves then? Where do we lead mankind to?? It is like a raging river, if we do not show it which way to go, it will choose it’s course.. Life can’t stay still, time won’t stop, I doubt evolution will.. Your writing is thought provoking, but does anyone here know where we want to go? And I am not talking about the local Tesco express :))
