my eyes are burning

What I gave
and what I took
I saw, give and take and blame are all part of the flame
love should be away from it
it could burn for the one you want to be with
it takes far away
as it has taken you far away
I’m standing here with my complicated heart
In my empty world

where your love gone
why love disappeared
Why heart crumble down
Why I’m alone!

Ushna this is sad…..
As much as love can give and embrace and absorb two spirits in mind and body….. it can also distance the reality of self worth and leave one so very isolated and lost.

Very poignant prose bridging separation of human souls. My wife Deb and I have been married 30+ years now; so I have not encountered that side – death will do that to us? I can tell you Philosopher Bertrand Russel is right tho! Marriage or a relationship is like two porcipines trying to live in the same tree hollow. Each person has to work hard not to puncture the other. It takes devotion and love!
The Shoshone have a saying, “The Great Coyote takes a clod of Earth and breaks it in two and tosses it down the hill. Human soul spend half their life trying to find their other half and then excel! ” Maybe we should not look for relationships; until we find our selves and find what is missing in our self to find your complement?
