This world has no chance
we are living on the edge
how many factories we will create more
how many power plants to we build more to get hold
How much power does it take to be ultimate conqueror?
How can we continue this ignorance?
All of the factories and cars pumping fumes……
industrial revolution …
What about humanity and preservation
do we deserve to survive
do we need re-establish the ecological balance?

Ushna, It saddens me to see you so pessimistic. May 18th 1980, Mt St Helens exploded in SW Washington state USA. The volcanic eruption literally destroyes 12,000 square miles. However, Nature, 28 years later, has totally restored the area – except for all the forests – which just takes time. Global Climate change does need Mankind’s help; but Nature is more resilient than most people realize. We all basically need to curb the amount of fossil-fuels – we all burn for energy -historically – because it once was cheap and dependable. Human’s need to adapt as Nature does daily? The Technology to even burn coal is available – we just need to convince our utilities to USE IT! It will pay for itself over time and our grandkids will thanks us?

Sorry but most of us do not have the means or ability to change what is happening to our environment. We can each contribute our small part. What we need is to find a way to make and yes I do mean “make” those in power and influence do what we can’t. In the 1970 Honda Civic came up with a pre-ignition carburetor that could be used on any auto and would if placed on a 1970 Cadillac (8 to 10 mpg) would increase the gas millage to 50mpg. What happened, the oil companies bought controlling interest in Honda stock and it disappeared. The technology is there to solve many of our problems but the powers that be will not allow them to develop because it would take money out of their profits. Lets find a way to stop this kind of autocracy.
OK I’m off of my stump, next.
