we had to queue up for an hour for the grocery

as long as we know that small shop only sells food and other things used in the home, so you are here for some grocery?what you are going to buy?

some dreams

dreams? at grocery store?

your noisy child have need some attention could you pay some attention? why he is making noise?

I know..

what do you know? your child is starving!

He’s off his food

how you will pay the grocery bill? as you are skint!

Don’t interfere in what doesn’t concern you

you tried to turn your dream of running your own business into reality?

(but I conceded that my teasing is getting beyond a joke as she did not get the joke)

I dreamt that I got the world

I don’t know, but only thing i know that I’m a mother and being a mother I feel a strong sense of responsibility towards my children!

No, I don’t work, my husband has passed away last week I don’t know exactly how we’ll manage it, but we will, somehow

    I came back because I thought about what you wrote, your story, and my thoughts were that in an enlightened and decent society, such as America is supposed to be, children are not allowed to starve no matter what the circumstances and neither are women forced into prostitution because they can not provide, no matter what the circumstances. Unfortunately society does not always live up to what it is supposed to be and says it is. I always like your writing, art and images. You are a very thoughtful and talented person.     It the horror of the world that we must move past. My friends father owned a meat store in NYC when someone in the neighborhood would come in and he knew they were poor or hungry he would give them meat for free. He would even by shoes for the children that didn’t have any. He was a good and kind man of concious. His kindness was repaid by all who knew him and supported him. Today his shop is replaced by a corporate grocery store. They do not see people, neighbors, only $. A generation growing up only seeing material things, I worry. We need more people of concious and kindness and less material things.
