This is one of the many bunnies that live near the foot of Rocky Mountains on the west side of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This one was a baby. They are not well liked here because they destroy lawns and eat flowers. This is probably a mountain cottontail.

    The baby ones are so cute but they won’t let anyone get too close. There are always shrubs or something nearby that they will hide in. I used a 300 mm lens to get this. Thank you for the kind comment. xo

    so whats wrong with kentucky fried rabbit? lmao when i first moved here from the town, my old town pub came to my local up here, for a friendly pool match/ social evening. guess what was on the menu? fresh caught by the local poacher and his ferrets! rofl!! beautiful!

    That is the frustrating thing about taking a picture in someone’s lawn. The 300 mm lens is going to pick up those jagged edges of the grass. Thank you for the comment. :)
