Spoils of War: Ode to a Refusenik Mother 1 by

Panel 1 of a series of 17 prints illustrating Margarita Korol’s poem, Spoils of War: Ode to a Refusenik Mother, published in Tablet Magazine (http://bit.ly/JMXna8). The series is exhibiting at New York City’s National Arts Club through June 2012. This panel featuring the artist’s mother reminds that we are contextualized in our parents’ plights, which are contextualized further in worldwide events.
