I put my trusty old 1972 Nikormat down over 30 years ago when I married and started a family. I pretty much assigned myself to the task of point and shoot photography or video taping family events and activities. My creative side took a back seat to responsibilities. After some serious life issues and following recent heart surgery, I felt the onset of post surgical depression when a friend visited me and talked about her photography and this site. Eureka! I was reminded of my early love for photography. I recently picked up my new baby, a Nikon D300. I hope to post some photographs and will be looking for some critical review. I’d also like to learn more about post processing techniques to enhance the images I take. I’d love to combine my photography with my love for travel and history. I am on my second life now and I hope to leave quite a trail of images behind where ever I go. I owe it all to my wife who takes good care of me and encourages me along the way and my friends who remind me about the beauty in the world just waiting for me to record it. I hope to photograph as much of it as possible and share what I see with you.
