This Ephemeral Healing Painting was painted for Paul (Quixote) Alleyne – And he wishes to share his poem Jacob’s Ladder with us all….........
I looked up to see Jacobs Ladder extended to me
I reach for it with weary arms and tired legs
And climb into the heavens
Pulling myself up,
rung after rung, after rung, after rung
Alas!
I can now rest after my long difficult journey
Thru the wilderness of earth
Where all light is gone
And only darkness remain
and I can no longer find my way,
Thru this swamp of pain and loneliness

This painting was done for Paul (Quixote) Alleyne – And I paste Paul’s own words…........
I was driving home from work, tired and a bit depressed when I looked up and noticed a cloudy sky with billowy dark clouds. Behind the clouds was the sun breaking thru in parts, displaying rays of sunshine towards earth,, and the idea of Jacob’s ladder came to me. I don’t know much about the biblical tale of Jacob’s ladder except in a general sense, so this was a bit unusual, but I immediately thought of writing a poem and did as soon as I arrived at home. I then looked up the story of Jacob’s ladder and was really taken by its meaning and how it related so closely with what was in my mind after contemplating the clouds and efforts of the sun to breakthrough…......

Paul (Quixote)...
Thank you for this wonderful healing painting. The composition fits well with my poem an the colors are in some way ethereal. Your work is excellent and beneficial to many.
