our self encompasses not only our conscious mind but also our unconscious mind … in our so-called “civilized” times we have forgotten this and most consider what is found in dreams only nonsense … our unconscious mind speaks to us in symbols often jumbled often chaotic but never without meaning .. dreams are a conversation we have with our selves … we must watch and listen to become whole again …

alas I am but a chubby owl and your little house is so small I would not fit… so for this visit I have transformed my self(s) into a little sparrow … for isn’t transformation what it’s all about? first we are molded by our surroundings and the people we share it with .. as time passes we transform our selves into who we wish to become (big smile) ...

It is such a privilege to be a part of this wonderful path! The first image I chose to post ‘Air’ – I chose because it’s natural tones were very calming to me, and the delicacy of the tiny wisps of feather blowing in the wind conveys the life-giving air and reminds me of what we so often ‘forget’ to do in times of stress – to breathe – slowly and deeply, to feel the flow of the breath.
This image from my ‘Explosion’ series, is very different… The image is actually of the bubble trails on the surface of a fish tank – lit by the fish tank light, which gave them these amazing red-yellow-gold tones. It reminds me of the concept of the ‘big bang’ – that’s why I called it the ‘Explosion’ series – which in a very different way is a concept of the beginning of life – of vibrancy as in these colours which are again as taken by the camera. This series is a dichotomy in a way – as the images combine the subtle delicacy of the flow of bubbles across the surface of water with the strong power of the vibrant colours given by the yellow fish tank lighting…

I would like to add a comment here too – that, like many others, I also have my ‘hard’ path to travel – but I have felt a wonderful warmth and peacefulness – a healing – from simply being invited, and then adding my own contributions to this healing path… something that seemed to be for the ‘healing’ of another has also provided a little healing for me.

I visit a special Koi Pond to watch the beauty and
interaction of my vibrantly colored Koi friends. I love to
watch them individually and view their gentle
interaction as the pond expands with new life
as families grow larger. I wish humans could exist in this graceful and harmonious alliance. The two Koi floated peacefully together for a long time. I imagined I was free floating in infinite space without boundaries
with kindred spirits like these beautiful “best friends.”

Someone that I admire greatly and have known since I joined RB is M.H. Kantor – I continue to admire this gentleman’s prolific output and his amazing ability to continually refresh our lives with inspiration, colour and wonderful healing energy. There are always moments when we can all feel lost, tired, apathetic even, but going to visit Mhk site – is always a very uplifting experience; something I recommend to everyone here. There have been many times when I have been able to just sit and look and found his work healing and very Spiritual. Thank you Mhk for leaving: – Crackers in Bed 4 – for all of us to enjoy. I know you will inspire more people through it. I will just fetch you a little drink, you sit yourself down here and rest after that long and exhausting flight! You can have a little look at all the other artwork we have put up………..I’ll just let everyone know that you have arrived safely…………..Sx

Here’s my Reclining Buddha, it’s designed according to the principles of the Five-Elements theory and Sacred Geometry. I used relaxinf healing colors, flowers and patterns….

what a very beautiful painting sophie.
i love all the spectrum of colours present and their various tones and vibrancy.
there are so many lovely works present here sophie, thank you for inviting me to add something.
my contribution is titled re birth.
this plant continues to bloom these beautiful flowers every year at my amazement. it is in a fairly small pot in my garden and every year, boom, the brightest red/pink colours appear.
