Captured near the small hamlet of Oakland, Manitoba, Canada….The original homestead was built in the early 1900’s and is still owned by the Wilkinson family….A larger version can be seen Here

One exposure was used to generate this HDR in Photomatix Pro 4.1.3, blending 3 exposures…Hand held…Further enhancements in Corel Paintshop Pro x3.

A self taught amateur photographer who resides in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is a prairie city in the center of Canada. My dear wife Marg and I have been married for 52 years, and we have 2 married daughters and 3 grandchildren to share our busy lives.I love to read, practice photography, spend time with my family, play around on the computer, and volunteer a lot of my time at our local Nature Center, where I serve as an interpreter for kids programs.

Lovely abandoned early 1900’s home! I can imagine a time when this house was full of life! Wonderful details and love the perspective of height of the house and the trees. The clouds direct one’s eyes back to the house. Wonderful detailing, lighting and dof! Great hdr work Larry! : )
