Hi Folks

Welcome to my Homepage…I live in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is a prairie city in the center of Canada.

My dear wife Marg and I have been married for 52 years, and we have 2 married daughters and 3 grandchildren to share our busy lives…

I have been involved with photography over fifty years now, and really got back into it again when I retired some nineteen years ago…

I love to read, spend time with my family, play around on the computer, practice Photography, and volunteer a lot of my time at our local Nature Center. I also serve as a Goodwill Ambassador at Assiniboine Park Conservancy

My latest camera is a Rebel EOS T3I 18.0 MP CMOS, I also use a Canon XTi DIgital SLR….I have 5 lens… (1) a standard EFS 18-55mm IS..(2) a Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS..(3)..a Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS..(4)..a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC Wide Angle Lens, and a (5) Sigma 150mm 1:2.8 APO MACRO Lens…I also have a Panasonic DMC-TZ2 point and shoot camera.

One of the first things I learnt in photography, as a young gaffer was not just to take a picture, but to “make a picture”…and I continually strive to do just that… As that is the real fun for me as an amateur, and I Folks still have a lot to learn…So remember folks the best “ships” on this planet are “friendships” so if you decide to pay us a visit, please leave a message, thanks in advance…
