amazing but sad street candid…great capture
Thanks very much denzel63andrew :)
That’s about as raw and as real as it gets…
Thanks Mark :)
Christ! How do you do this – find these people and get so close??? Was this guy in a fight or a fallen-down drunk? Call an ambulance!!!
Thanks shallay :) He had an eye open open for a moment, as I stood on the road and focussed. He was reposing on some steps at almost my eye level, about 2 or 3 metres away. I slept rough and/or squatted in this area too, back in ‘85/’86, so I suppose I remember the old haunts…
how is it that rough sleepers always look like they have had the sh*t kicked out of them… cheeky shot, but so well photographed
usually c*nts (like alex and his droogs) coming out of pubs and using them as target practice. as for cheeky , I was told by a woman walking behind me that taking his picture is so uncool
Photograph?? no way!Detail of a painted Pieta.
This was me 20 odd years ago….guess thats part of why I’m drawn back, over and again
Your work exposes the reality of human suffering.
Thanks Helen, its what I tried for :)
It is sad, but it is also a good photo. Excellent documentation.
Thank you :)
Great work in many aspects, well done
