Totally one of your best……great shot – great commentary!
Thanks Margot, I looked up one day and there he was……suddenly the was a frenzy camera/phones pointing at him :)
Excellent work, and very pertinent to the times we live in!!
Thanks Marvin :)
I love so many things about this – as a photograph is it really, really strong AND it is perfect commentary of life under big brother!
it feeds perfectly into, my well developed sense of paranoia :)
very clever! love the way you think about the theme; it’s clear with your image.Poignant…
Thanks Mohsen, 4 million cameras follow us in this country, for our own protection ;~)
CCTV man lives! Brilliant Dunc.
Thanks Denis :) He even had a blinking (pardon my French) red light, that doesn’t seem to show up here ;)
excellent..bravo my friend.
Thanks Kostis :)
Commentary, yes – but photoshop? Fancy dress? Mr. Camerahead is keeping off the rain? If this is real, it’s bizarre – but apt sign of the times. Kind of personifies your security camera…
No photoshop here…no photoshop for ages now. This bridge is overlooking the Southbank of the Thames, were the ‘static mimes’ gather (mainly at weekends) for the tourists . Get your picture taken standing next to someone in a fish costume, sitting on a bicycle or a Pirate from the Caribbean…..and leave a donation. I can’t think anything could top this in my anti-CCTV fetish/rants :))
thank you for posting this shot – its a brilliant portrayal of London
Thanks Angela, its almost enough to make me wear a cap, as a disguise. But wearing a cap means being stopped by the police more often (for looking suspicious).
Great photograph with a strong message.
Thanks Alixzandra :)
