Really? This is a government building?

    I’m tickled. Cool.

  • Yes indeed, its another Norman Forster design, a lopsided cousin to 30 St Mary Axe aka The Gherkin . My favourite is the Millau Viaduct in France (never been, but watched a documentary on its construction) . The idea of this design, is said to be ‘transparency in politics’… and I still haven’t finished laughing!

Haha – those tickling branches – and it does seem to be leaning back proffering its belly in appreciation… love the design! had no idea your mayor was so progressive;)

  • I should change the name to ‘Tickling the belly of the Beast’ ;))
