amazing photo. what settings did you use? and what lens? It looks like it was 5 feet away

Tallow – Thanks! This was taken with a Canon EF 100-400mm 1:4.5-5.6 L IS lens at 250mm. The basic settings: F/7.1 1/1250 sec. ISO-400 and spot metering. The image is cropped a bit. I was much further than 5 feet away. :-) Mike
