Surf it up….

Within the wonders and darkness of space
A small blue planet is ahead of the rest.
The waves of powerful ocean rise
Piercing through its wondrous sky

Its nurturing star, we call the sun
Returns a wave, so truly spun
As it provides not only warmth
It gives us light and life at dawn

A surfer’s dream is never met
Fearless and hungry for better yet
As natural forces soon unite
They long for….the ultimate ride

For they know not what it beholds
The powerful force that’s to unfold
Sun and Earth unravel a few
Untamed emotions that they’ll go through

But why should surfers have all the fun
When we all share the Earth and sun
It’s ours… its’ theirs…it’s everyone’s
So surf it up and have some fun.

Love your composition and the way the sun’s heat is sucked up into wave-making. Your mist and light on the wave cap draw my eyes deeply into the core of the painting. But the sun and curving elements beg the eye to continue circumventing its edges.

  • yes I know, lol…no end in sight…;0
