Left Hand Bass / Right Hand Treble (White on Black/Colour Version) by

A shirt to remind you which hand goes where when you’re playing (both on the piano or with the contents of the shirt) ;)

If you’d like a different colour for the image on the shirt let me know and I’ll try to make it available for you in other colours

very nice “T”..but if you’re wearing it isn’t it left hand treble right hand bass? (from the wearers POV) lol

  • You’re right…from the wearers POV it would be the other way round. However when I designed it I did it from the perspective of someone looking at the shirt from the front.

It’s intended to be worn by the fairer sex with the two clefs resting over the bustline. That way anyone viewing the shirt from the front will know where their left hand should go and where their right hand should go.

Essentially when I buy this for my girlfriend it’s going to be a cheap excuse for a fondle under the guise of practising my piano technique. Luckily she doesn’t read sheet music so I’ll see how long I can get away with it for before she punches me.

And remember…sheet music isn’t written from the perspective of the piano but from the perspective of the pianist ;)

great idea! though yeh, from the wearer’s point of view, and in relation to the hands on the piano, shouldn’t they be the other way around? So the left hand side (from this POV) should be the treble as it then is the right hand, and the right hand side from this POV should be the bass…
anyway, great T lol, soz for a rambled comment…

  • lol thanks Jonathan! Yeah you’re right from the wearers POV they should be the other way round however I wanted it to be from the POV of someone else looking at the shirt, letting them know where they should place their hands.

I should probably put a warning on this shirt.
“Please remember, unlike a piano you will need to seek the permission from the wearer of the shirt before you place your hands down and start to play. Failure to do so may result in you getting slapped”

I guess I could always knock up the design from the other perspective if anyone was interested.

haha excellent. if redbubble ever make it possible to print onto the back, that message is a must lol

  • Definitely….I’d kill for redbubble to let me print on the back…and beyond the bounds of the lil rectangle on the front
