On A Giant's Back

Ophelia,Phoebe and Mel having fun on the elephant’s back….and elephant was pleased to have their company as well! :D This was painted in May’08 and I remembered I had a yearning to want to visit Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand :D..so that was why I painted these 3 friends having an outing with the elephant….because there are many elephant reserves there in Chiang Mai, where they protect these precious animals from harm. I was glad to be able to go on that trip in June’08 this year! :D

love this udonchow that little turtle had better watch out in case the elephant steps on him,I havent been to chang mai yet, but been to thailand 6 times love it going back in november

I don’t think Phoebe looks sad, but a little nervous. I’m not sure if it’s because of the elephant or the balloon. But I like that!

Thanks Pinky!! I live in Bangkok….so it’s pretty easy for me to go to Chiang Mai anytime…it’s a place filled with so much nature beauty, think you will love it there….the green, the elephants and the city’s rustic charm :D
