Portrait painter Pieter Zaadstra learned the art techniques of the School of den Hague from his artist/teacher father, growing up in the Netherlands. After migrating to Australia and adapting his techniques to the new Australian light, Pieter won numerous art awards and made his name as a portrait painter with many high profile sitters. Wonderful composition Pieter! Man, you’ve been busy, I see.
Hi Bob – I have uploaded many of Pieter’s works over the last 2 weeks but they come from work over many years. There is a huge collection over his long career although we do not have photographic images of many of them. He has covered many genres and I try to put up a range of his works. There are also many portraits and I will slowly get around to uploading some of those too. The joys of high quality digital photography mean we can now keep better records of Pieter’s work.
