Meet some more of my faeries

Meet some more of my faeries

This scene is of the main character in my story (Peabody – a faerie from the Woodlands) with his friend (Stinky, the mouse) meeting young Ignatius (the fire dragon) on the beach.
Ignatius is a fiesty young fire dragon, and has his bottom stuck very firmly inside a seashell.

The backdrop is one of Rainer’s artworks.
The dolls and models used here are hand made and dressed (and/or created by) myself and Rainer.

They are to be used as illustrations in my two books: Tales from the Forest Floore, and Tales Upon an Ocean Shore.

Meet some more of my faeries belongs to the following groups:

Art Inspired by Dreams, Art of the Doll, Creative, Talented, and Unknown, Faerie World (WINGED FAERIES ONLY!) 2 per 24 hrs, Live, Love, Dream, Shameless Self-Promotion and Toys and Puppets Available for sale as

Stinky! mwahahahaha! Love that name! This is very fun and colorful, my kids would have loved these illustrations when they were little. Fabulous work!

  • TwirlyAngel replied

Thanks Jen. Your response to this is overwhelming. Thanks heaps. We had such fun putting this scene together. It is actually done in my backyard, with one of Rainer’s paintings as the backdrop, and a bucket of sand from our beach, with a few rocks chucked about. Fortunately the sun was shining at the right moment, so the lighting was perfect, without causing shadows on the background.
    Thanks for your support xxxx

LOL! I like Ignatius. I bet deep down he’s a sweet fella. I’d be spitting fire if I had my tail caught in a seashell. ;0) Great job! xo

  • TwirlyAngel replied

Thanks so much for your lovely comments.
Ignatius is very ‘real’ to me, and is kind of like my ‘imaginary pet’ – makes me sound like a weirdo doesn’t it….. (don’t answer that!!)
He is a sweetheart and is trying so hard to be helpful, but is constantly in everyone’s way. We had a lot of fun putting this scene together – my hubbie sculpted Ignatius from polymer clay especially for me.
