A long way to go
I knew the standard of my photography was in need of development, but I don’t think I realized how much lol. I look at some of the work here (ok, most of the work here) and think OMG, I will never take photos like that. But I have been known to be wrong in the past, I hope I’m wrong on this.
I’m still getting to understand my camera and what it can actually do (we bought a much coveted Canon 400D last week) So I hope that as I learn more about it, my photos will reflect that knowledge.

Standard smandard. What passes for one person’s self-proclaimed masterpiece is another person’s “snap”. You have camera. You shoot. You create. I like some of my photos, but I wouldn’t show anyone most of them. Go for it! I can already see you are using your camera to capture what you see and like. And sharing the result is what it’s all about! Most of us here are just like you – we are amateurs with a creative desire, and a desire to learn and be inspired. I envy you, because your learning curve may be steep but the inspiration must be huge. Welcome!
