DAD & SON

He was tired
Very weak
He had no food
Didn’t sleep
Wife gone
All alone
Sorrowful
On their own
He carried his child
Child was fed
He made sure
His child had bread
He walked miles
With his child
A man of love
Oh so mild
Feet sore
Sun hot
Streets unfriendly
Sweating alot
He’s the man
That finds the way
Travels with his child
Every day
A hard life
Moving around
Never sure
Where he’s bound
There is no help
for either one
DAD & SON

SPEAK OUT TO POLITICIANS
BE THE VOICE FOR THE HOMELESS
IF ENOUGH OF US SPEAK
PERHAPS THEY CAN BE HELPED

changed the poem a little today..no big change..more toward
