She was beautiful, charming
Mature, well dressed
The picture of happiness
Behind the vision of eloquence
Her life really makes no sense
She’s out at seven for a jog
While her husband is sleeping like a log
Home at eight to make hubby some food
By nine she’s already in a bad mood
She must smile while taking the children to school
Goes food of hubby’s rules
After that home again
Too busy to have a friend
Goes on the internet one day
Just to have some fun and play
Meets a man on line
Falls in love but has no time
Decides to meet him one afternoon
Stays with him to watch the moon
No children picked up after school
Mom is breaking alot of Dad’s rules
Dinner was not eaten that night
Mom didn’t cook it that’s not right
A big fight about her escapade ensued
Now she was in a really bad mood
She told her husband I’d like to leave
It’s only for the children I would grieve
You are boring and I am tired
I’m sick of being ignored and not admired
He was taken back a bit
She thought he would have a fit
But he said in mournful voice
I thought you knew I love you I have no choice
You are beautiful and very charming
Mature, well dressed and SERIOUSLY ALARMING
I’m thrilled I’m married to someone like you
I thought you always loved me too
Mournfully he looked at her face
With his fingers he started to trace
The beauty of her smile
And stared at her for a very long while
She held his hand and they went to bed
A night of passion in their bed
The next morning when they arose
He wouldn’t let her put on her clothes
Ravaged her once more so she would know
He appreciated her so
Never again did she look elsewhere
She had everything she wanted right there

Yes Sally very true to life and very well written, and speaking for the male point of view such emotional indifference is not unique to men, sadly women often times are guilty of the very same thing. :-(

  • Martin, Thank you so much..and yes you are absolutely right..
the indifference can sometimes be on the part of a woman..very
    sad, either way..Sally xxoo
