Faded Memories

Donna, Loved Faded Memories

Please check out my friend Donna Sherwood’s other awesome artwork on RB.

My memories faded not very clear
But I will always remember you my dear
The summers we spent in the water so blue
The autumn with its orange hues
I remember walking down the path of life
Holding hands as your wife
Sometimes I think it is all a dream
Didn’t really happen..that’s how it seems
Then I look down at my aging hand
And see my golden wedding band
It reminds me of the day we met
A day that I will never completely forget
We were so young and filled with energy
It was the best life could be
Now you are gone and here I wait
When I get God’s call I won’t hesitate
You live in my reverie
And all my FADED MEMORIES
