Having been left alone in the street
So glad he did meet
Someone to take him in and try to find him a home
Never again would he be alone
So beautiful is his face
How could anyone leave him..what a disgrace
Where did they expect him to find food
Were they in a foul mood
His little soul saddened and in pain
No shelter for him from the rain
But a good soul walking by
Heard this little fellow cry
Picked him up and he awaits
Someone who will see all his good traits
He is so quiet and so very mellow
And look at those eyes .. almost yellow
What lucky family will make him a member
So he no longer will remember
Being left on the street all alone
With no home to call his own
ADOPT RUSTY

Beautifully written. I’m all for adopting pets, have adopted 2 cats and 1 dog to save them. I’m also a believer that desexing should be free of charge so the Rusty’s of the world are not left out on the streets in the rain.

most of mine are adopted..birds, cats, dogs, rabbits…they are so

Wish I could take them all in and give them the love and comfort they so deserve!
I just cannot understand abandonment of animals – it is so unnecessary when there are so many shelters that will take them in. Far better to entrust them to the care of those who will protect them until they can find loving new homes than to dump them in the street.

I’ve got 3 adopted cats & Peaches was a gift from a breeder of Siamese. All are loved equally. Peaches thinks she’s human though. Ha Ha. Wonderful work to you both. Patron Saints Of Stray Animals.

Wayne..Most of mine are adopted..Siamese definitely come into the
house and become the owners..they only allow you to stay so they
are fed and their litter is cleaned..I am so happy you adopted..
