ENOUGH

When do you say I’ve had ENOUGH
How do you decide to get tough
Weeping has gotten you no where
You know in your heart he doesn’t care
Why when you smile does he look away
And have an attitude every day
Can’t you hear the words he says to you
About all the things you say and do
How can I tell you what is right
And tell you it’s time to take flight
I know it’s none of your business you see
But what he’s doing to you really hurts me
It’s time that you go .. pack your trunk
Bring what you need..get rid of the junk
I have a car outside waiting for you
That is the very least I can do
You can stay no more..I see the bruises
Get out now..he is a loser
Find yourself the love of your life
You are so kind and make a good wife

Artist's Description

I set this story to a poem..it is true..I had a very good friend abused by her
husband and I told her one day ENOUGH..I saw her with bruises all the
time..she always had excuses..one day I sent a car for her..she packed only
what fit in one suitcase and left..never to go back..today she is married..has
two little boys with her new husband..and is happy..no more abuse..
