He deceived her trust and she was left broken

She sat there is complete distress
What had she done to cause this mess
She blamed herself and cried herself to sleep
And went into depression so deep
The next day she woke up EMPOWERED
After having slept for many hours
Realizing that she had given him her life
And had been nothing but a good wife
She picked herself up out of bed
Took a shower got dressed and said
I’m glad it’s over and the marriage is dead
I’ll go on living the way I please
Will never beg and plead on my knees
The next time I fall in love it will be
When someone is really in love with me
