Cold & Alone

Thank you for the beautiful photo COLD & ALONE

Please check out my friend Wayne’s (Photo40s) other awesome photos on RB

There the tree stood Cold & Alone
Not even one leaf to call it’s own
So sad did it look it made me cry
I could hear it asking me Why
Did my leaves fall when the cold came
I can’t wait for a nice warm rain
When all of my leaves will flourish and grow
I still can’t understand where did my leaves go
I explained to the tree that the Spring would be here
And all of its leaves would grow everywhere
It’s limbs would be covered in emerald green
And again it would be the most beautiful tree seen
I hated to go and leave the tree Cold & Alone
Standing there with no leaves of it’s own
I will go back when the Winter does cease
To see the tree full and at peace

Just such a beautiful poem. You seem to know what I’m thinking as I shoot my pictures. Thank you so very much.

Wayne, Thank you so much…the photos say it to me..I could just
see the tree communicating with the one person who took the time
to take a photo of it’s longing for it’s leaves to return and the reply
to the tree….it is a beautiful photo..Sally xxoo

This is very lovely – you have an amazing talent my friend – you see our pictures and you seem to know what we are thinking (and wondering) when we take them. Beautiful Sally! xxx

    This is beautifully written…

I like to think trees and plants and wildlife have their own little voices and their own unqiue personalities (something i probably shouldnt admit) but you’ve managed to bring this tree to life… So much so i felt a deep longing to go to it and offer it a hug of comfort.

You have a wonderfully way with words Sally.

Adam, Thank you so much.. well, I am one of those people who speak
to trees and plants and animals and I know they speak back and yes
when I saw Wayne’s photo…I wanted to go and hug that tree too…they have magical little spirits..as we do..Sally xxoo
