Pillow Talk
Thank you Nancy for your very descriptive photo “Pillow Talk”
Nancy and I are both from N.Y.C. and many women spend their days discussing
life while looking out the window checking on their children and leaning on
their pillows having heart to heart talks

There the women sit side by side
Talking of things they usually hide
They exchange confessions
Of past discretions
Watching their children in the street
Making sure none get beat
Gossiping about everyone
Some the truth some for fun
Leaning out the window
Arms firmly pressed on their pillows
They talk of loves of the past
Relationships that did not last
Of friends who have passed away
This is the way they spend their day
It helps the boredom of time spent home
Time which otherwise would be spent alone
Rather than run or walk
They’d rather have Pillow Talk

we go through so much as women that men could never begin to understand & through it all there is always another women (even if we don’t know them) willing to give a hug or just listen!

Angela, Nancy and I have both lived in N.Y.C. ... she in Manhattan
and I lived at different times in the Bronx and Queens…this used
to be so prevalent in these areas…it was so easy to write about…
