The Fog Was So Thick I Could Hardly See The Trees

The Fog Was So Thick I Could Hardly See The Trees
The air was very still there was not even a breeze
It looked as though I was standing in some magical land
I pictured that I was a drum major marching in a band
As we would march toward the trees the fog started to lift
We would march so slowly since marching bands are not quick
I would be so proud in my uniform of gold and blue
Performing for everyone and especially for you
You would look at me with a smile so bright and kind
I would know that you thought that I looked mighty fine
But as I awakened from my dream to reality
I realized the fog had lifted and there was only me

The Fog Was So Thick I Could Hardly See The Trees
