a broken vase
dying roses
on the edge of insanity
walking between
the lines drawn
each row straight
falling to the right
falling to the left
thoughts invading
a brain so drained
looking for answers
a shard of glass
blood flows
she feels no pain
the heat of her blood
elicits excitement
the warm flow
dripping from her veins
no answers needed now
slowly drifting
into the realm
of the unknown
her life flickers
in small segments
holding onto a childhood memory
she passes into the other world
finally seeing
the light at the end of the tunnel
Angels surround her
all is forgiven
she is at peace

I’m glad it’s noone you know Sally.
It’s beautiful… and disturbing. Scary because you make it sound so warm and inviting.

even though the undertones are very sad and you touch a delicate subject that most will go out of their way too evade…you have written a beautiful poem with a truly beautiful ending…sometimes its good to take the edge off….awesome

It is very difficult to see such subject matter as tender time but your poetry I feel shows the rawness that may be there….. a rawness of life that bruises one heart. xx
