She drove on The Interstate
The funeral was today..it was getting late
Her mind continued to wander
And she will always ponder
What went wrong that rainy night
When he drove away after their big fight
The police told her he was driving way too fast
His tires screeched as he had passed
The Interstate By Pass Bridge

He crashed into a big pick-up
He was killed…just her luck
Now she lives with guilt each day
Because of the words she did say
She said why don’t you go and never come back
Go get drunk again and why don’t you smack
Up your car in a big crash..I love you no more
That’s when he jolted out of the door
The Interstate By Pass Bridge

She called out to him come here
I don’t mean those words dear
But it was too late..they were already said
Now she plans his funeral..he is dead
As she drives..she thinks in misery
Of the wonderful life that could be
Had she not said those words to him
She hangs her head for this sin
The Interstate By Pass Bridge

She went to his funeral dressed in black
Knowing he would never come back
Weeping tears in complete pain
Self-hate and self-disdain
She would never see him again
He was her husband and her best friend
Now he lies there so dead
Because of the cruel words she said
The Interstate By Pass Bridge

    Sally,
Photograph was your inspiration of a never ending less than desirable trait that we all carry, and its evil power when we choose to exercise its existence, Careful what ou wish, choose well your words and actions, For every action there is a reaction, Speak with your heart, think before you speak, At times silence is golden and Forever silent is Dark and Void. I would not wish the experience you speak of on anyone.

Fred, Thank you so much…the worst thing you can do is say some-
thing filled with anger and then lose that person before you have a
chance to say I’m sorry….Sally xxoo

So very sad – great message Sally. Always think twice before speaking in anger – especially to those you love the most! x
