weak and exhausted
she lost so much
in such a short time
overwhelmed by stress
through it all
she still had faith
that glimmer of hope
we all search for
sometime in our lives
knowing not all was lost
she prayed for strength
to walk from darkness
into a bright burning light
wanting to once more
dance with the rainbows
slip between the clouds
tip-toe on stars
sit on the moon
be drenched by the rain
to cleanse herself
once again finding love
she looked up at the heavens
there was a rainbow
green, pink, red, yellow
with a hint of purple
a light was cast upon it
she smiled
