Collaborative work of Aaron Schwartz & Sally Omar

Aaron has a beautiful poem that also goes along with this artwork..

When I saw this picture I wrote the poem and Aaron was kind enough
to allow me to place his awesome work next to my poem although
he had already written “Gratitude and Awe”.

Thank you, Aaron!!!!!

her cheekbones
so high and pronounced
her ears just waiting for my lips
the wisp of hair
that eventually fell to her shoulders
shoulders i can’t wait to kiss
her earrings fall into her neck
the straps on her dress
i want to remove
holding her close to my breast
in unison with her heartbeat
i won’t move
the thought of her touch
her lips so divine
i picture her hands
locked in mine
her eyes whisper
come hither
her soft silky skin
skin that will never wither
i walk over to her slowly
and taste her sweet lips
my heart is pounding
i am drowned by her kiss
forever we will walk together
down the highway of life
for today i will ask her simply
“will you be my wife?”
