welcome to oblivion
do you know where you are
are you forgotten
will there be divine intervention
to help you find your place
or will you swirl into the bottomless pit
praying for salvation
for a hand to grab your hand
do you really know who you are
have you searched your heart
have you searched your soul
apparently not
welcome to oblivion

Divine intervention/grace is my only hope. We are all of the same fallen stock.
Great, incisive writing, Sally. Gets right to the heart of it.

I have visited oblivion on more than one occasion. You’ve written about the feeling/place eloquently.

    A superb piece, Sally xxx

oblivion, not so bad, I believe we judge ourselves far more harshly during our lives, to depend on salvation after all is done and we are dust avoids our searching of our hearts and soul. For those who believe in a god, I am truly pleased you have found meaning to your life. ps I do like the piece x
